Summer Harvest Cooking Class & Meal Kit

Join us for our next virtual cooking class and meal kit and experience an array of seasonal vegetables from one of our favorite local farms, Sola Gratia! We've built a menu that highlights their summer harvest for a unique and delicious dinner. Join Co-op staff members Sarah Buckman and Liz Sands as they guide you through the dishes. All proceeds will benefit Sola Gratia Farm! The menu includes:

  • Eggplant Rollatini - sliced eggplant stuffed with herby ricotta cheese and topped with homemade cherry tomato marinara
  • Pesto Babka Dinner Rolls - Co-op dough and pesto rolled into twists and baked in oven
  • Roasted Garlic Kale Caesar Salad - a spin on a classic recipe with massaged kale, toasted croutons, parmesan, red pepper, and a creamy roasted garlic caesar dressing

 

Registration is $50 and includes meal kit portioned for 3-4 people. Co-op Owners can use promo code: OWNER for $5 off their registration.

 

Register below and preorder your meal kit to pick up on Friday, August 23rd from 4-6pm in the Common Ground Flatlander Classroom. Tune in for the virtual Zoom live cooking class on Saturday, August 24th from 3-5pm. By the end of class, participants can enjoy a full meal made from scratch. 

 

What you need for class:

  • Immersion blender, food processor, or blender
  • 2 sheet trays
  • 9x13 cassarole dish or similar
  • Medium sauce pan
  • Skillet or cast iron pan
  • Small and large mixing bowls
  • Grater
  • Cutting board and knives
