A Word from the General Manager

Hello Cooperators,

Happy New Year! I hope you will all be safe and prosperous as we move forward into 2024. I want to thank everyone for your support throughout 2023. I am thrilled to be a part of this organization.

This year we will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Co-op! As I learn more about our history, I am amazed at the resilience of the Co-op and how tenaciously we have held to the ideals that were envisioned since the beginning! From our startup with a single van and buying in bulk, to our dedication to organic and local foods, and to our commitment to our community, we have never wavered from our mission and the Ends that guide us. A celebration is coming! Store staff will be working closely with the Board to make this our best year ever! 

As we celebrate the beginning of this year, a toast, to the past 50 years of hard work, dedication, and success. We did it... together! And may the next 50 years see the co-op still in operation, still adhering to the philosophies of our founders, and still serving our community with pride.
