A Word from the General Manager

Hello Cooperators!

Wow! There is a lot going on at the Co-op this month!

Our new Produce fixtures have arrived and the whole produce department has been refreshed! You can check out the before and after pictures when you get a chance or just come on in and see it for yourself! Many thanks to NCG's Tim Domini and our Produce team for putting this all together!

We will be getting our Link Match program up and running very soon! The official launch date is Monday, August 7th. We will be the only Grocery store in town that has this program to help folks in need to double up on their food dollars by matching up to $25 of fresh local and regional produce purchases. We are very excited to launch this wonderful local food access program with the help of Experimental Station! Visit our Link Match webpage for more information.

The fall MoO (Meeting of Owners) is in its planning stage and details can be found in this month's newsletter! We will be holding the event in person for the first time since 2019 in the space currently occupied by Cloud Kombucha here in Lincoln Square Mall. The meeting will be held on September 14th from 6-8pm. Please save the date so you don't miss out on this year's exciting activities and be sure to vote in our board elections as well as for next year's Round Up For Good organizations! Also, if you have any interest in running for the Board, now is the time to inquire. We have 3 director spots up for election that need to be filled. Please contact our current Board at board@commonground.coop if you are interested!
