Hello Cooperators!

As we enter the holiday season I would like to let you all know about what is happening at the Co-op!

First, please check out our new website! We hope that you find it to be cleaner, more informative and easier to navigate than our previous version. My deepest gratitude goes out our Marketing team who has worked so hard on it for the past few months.

Turkey preorders have begun! Please come into the store to submit your order over the weekend, or if you prefer, you can order online! Please order early because there is a shortage of natural turkeys in the marketplace.

Our "Local Farm to Table Mural" is nearly complete! Please come and take a look at our planters in front of the store. Join us on October 23rd for the ribbon cutting ceremony!

I watched what I feel is a very important documentary called The Coop Wars, about the history of cooperatives in our region. Please watch it here and feel free to join in the Q & A session with the creators next week!

At the Meeting of Owners I spoke briefly on the topic of ongoing supply chain disruption that our store, country, and world are working through. We will do our best to keep our owners up to date on what is going on that makes it difficult to souce many of the products that we love here at Coop. There are many steps involved in getting products into our store and the supply chain is dealing with product shortages, packaging shortages, raw material shortages, and labor shortages in the wake of Covid-19. We are doing our best to get products ordered to fill everyone's needs but there are many challenges. Please understand that we may need to bring in alternate brands for some products and we may not be able to get any of other products for a short time or possibly an extended period of time. Everyone may want to consider shopping early for any non perishable items you may need for the holidays. If you can't find what you are looking for please ask one of our staff and we will see what we can do to help!

Thanks for reading! Please stay safe!

Gary
