Central Illinois Bakehouse was founded as Pekara ("bakery" in Serbian) Bakehouse in 2008. The current owners strive to create a sustainable artisan baking company that is a meaningful part of our local food network, our community, and their team member's lives by crafting products that are of the highest quality and that bring happiness to the creators and customers.
