Become an Owner Volunteer!

Owner Volunteers are a vital part of Common Ground Food Co-op. As an owner of Common Ground, you are entitled to apply for Owner Volunteer positions and earn discounts in the store for working on one of the Co-op work teams.

Owner Volunteer discounts cannot be combined with any other discounts; the greater of the two discounts will always be applied. As an Owner Volunteer, you join a work team that is headed up by one of our Co-op managers and commit to a regular work position that is crucial to the functioning of the store.

Interested in becoming an Owner Volunteer? The first step is to fill out an Owner Volunteer application (available at the register), which helps staff know where owners' skills can be most helpful. We'll then get in touch with you to let you know if we have a position that fits your interests and availability. Thanks!
