How do I become an owner at Common Ground?

It's easy to join! Next time you're in the store, tell your cashier you want to become an owner. Then fill out the short information form and make your equity investment--that's it! Becoming an owner doesn't really cost anything; you simply make a $60 investment, which is fully refundable for any reason. There are no annual fees.

You don't have to pay your full equity investment on the day you join. We ask for a minimum $5 down payment on your investment on the day you join, after which we have several payment options. Ask at the register for details. You can shop as an owner right away, and once you have completed paying your owner investment, you can vote on the bylaws of the co-op and in board elections, or even run for a board position yourself!
