Common Ground Food Co-op is proud to be one of over 200 organizations that signed a letter to support funding for beginning and socially disadvantaged farmers in the Farm Bill. This letter was delivered last Thursday, April 19, to leaders of the Senate Agriculture Committee. Feedback regarding the Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program and the 2501 Outreach and Technical Assistance for Socially Disadvantaged Farmers and Ranchers program is already being heard.
